Expertise and technical support
Certain decisions, changes or actions require skills that are not always available within the organisation, or that need to be drawn upon at a specific time.
Certain decisions, changes or interventions require expertise that is not always available within the organisation, or that needs to be brought in at a specific time.
A lack of appropriate expertise can slow down decision-making, compromise the technical quality of an intervention or limit the ability to address a specialised issue.
In this context, the AIGDD draws on targeted expertise, tailored to the need, the context and the level of technical complexity required, with particular attention paid to the transfer of methods and knowledge.
Strategic support
This consultation sheds light on the key strategic choices, trade-offs and implementation options when an institution needs to finalise a decision, consolidate a strategic direction or strengthen an existing system. It provides an independent assessment of the challenges, constraints and scope for improvement.
Specialist expertise
Multidisciplinary expertise is drawn upon depending on the sector, the context and the level of technical complexity required. This expertise may relate to governance, programme management, monitoring and evaluation, performance, data, methodologies, digital systems or any other field falling within the Agency’s remit.
Coordination and transfer
Technical assistance is integrated into the institution’s day-to-day operations in order to prevent expertise from becoming detached from its operational realities. The methods, tools and knowledge generated are gradually adopted by the teams concerned, thereby strengthening their autonomy and ensuring the continuity of the capacities established.
The value of the intervention thus rests as much on the quality of the expertise provided as on its ability to leave behind methods, tools and skills that can be utilised in the long term.
