Assessment and institutional reform
Organisations are regularly faced with changes that go beyond simply revising procedures or organisational charts.
Organisations are regularly faced with changes that go beyond simply revising procedures or organisational charts. Shifting remits, increasingly complex responsibilities, new performance requirements or weaknesses in internal mechanisms can gradually create a disconnect between the existing organisation and the expected results.
When this gap takes hold, institutional performance becomes compromised: responsibilities become less clear, processes lose their effectiveness and decision-making capacity is weakened.
The AIGDD then steps in to carry out a detailed analysis of the structural causes, define the priorities for transformation and support their implementation in a manner consistent with the institution’s capabilities and circumstances.
Institutional evaluation
The analysis focuses on governance, functions, processes, responsibilities, internal capabilities, management tools and key risks. It enables a distinction to be made between structural shortcomings and one-off difficulties, and helps to identify the areas where the institution can take effective action.
Transformation path
The findings are translated into transformation priorities, organised chronologically. The roadmap sets out the changes to be implemented, the responsibilities to be assigned, the capacities to be strengthened and the conditions necessary to drive change without disrupting the institution’s day-to-day operations.
Change management
The transformation is being carried out in close collaboration with the teams and in line with existing responsibilities, in order to encourage ownership of the new systems. The focus is on changing practices, integrating methods, transferring skills and ensuring the continuity of functions during the transition period.
The aim of the transformation is to create a better-organised institution that is better able to manage its processes, fulfil its responsibilities and adapt its operations to its priorities in the long term.
